Adey Steel have recently completed work at Hastings & Ford, Sussex, where they have been working closely with Saxlund International Ltd.
The project involved delivering two storage silos, supporting structural frame and access steelwork to the waste water treatment plant in the south of England.
Adey Steel worked on the project from the design stage to the final completion ensuring the project was done to the highest possible standard.
The design involved detailed drawing of the silos and steelwork, using their in-house industry leading BIM compliant 3D Modelling software Tekla. The innovative technology allowed them to seamlessly integrate their design into the CNC machinery to create accurate component parts.
The project was completed with the application of a three coat painting system to the 5x8 silo bodies. The steel structural elements were galvanised to BS EN 1461.
Now, thanks to Adey Steel the high profile waste water treatment plant has a reliable and long lasting system.
