77m Conveyor Bridge installed in Scotland’s National Park

17th June 2018

Adey Steel have worked on the design, detailing and fabrication of a 77m Conveyor Bridge to a Cemex Quarry in Scotland.

Our technical team worked closely with our client to develop a design solution that allowed practical and quick on-site installation in challenging conditions over a large quarry pool. The bridge was manufactured in 5 sections ranging from 10 to 18m in length with supporting trestle structures, each section being fully clad prior to final delivery and installation in the quarry in the edge of the Loch Lomond National Park.

Adey’s largescale fabrication bays, heavy lifting capacity and high skill base lends itself to design and manufacture of long span structures and our central location in the Midlands makes delivery to anywhere in the UK a simpler task.
